The purpose of the Card Express is to with a minimum of bureaucracy exchange an outdated card to a new one, under the condition that the data of the person in the database are correct and updated.
If so, the person simply walks up to the Card Express machine, insert his present ID card and prove the ownership of the card by presenting his fingerprint or pin code.
He will then be asked a few questions on the screen that he answers by pointing on the touch screen.
If everything is to satisfaction the card data will be transferred to the Card Express and an enclosed plastic card / encoder printer will produce a new updated card for the customer.
A bank note reader is standard to make the customer able to pay for the service.
